Pool leak repair

Once the leak has a location, the repair becomes a defined job with a defined price. The argument for locating it first is entirely about how much has to be disturbed to reach it.

The repair follows the diagnosis

A separated skimmer, a failed fitting, a cracked line and a hairline in the shell are four different repairs with four different costs. Guessing between them is how a small problem becomes a large invoice.

We repair what we find. You are not obliged to use us for the repair. The location is yours either way, and some people would rather hand it to a pool company they already use.

What the repair depends on

Where it is
A fitting at the equipment pad and a line under the middle of a deck are the same failure with very different access.
What is above it
Soil, pavers, stamped concrete and tile all cost different amounts to open and to put back.
Whether it is one point or a run
A single joint is a splice. A degraded run is a replacement. Testing tells us which before we quote.
The pool's construction
Vinyl liner, gunite, fibreglass and painted plaster each have their own repair methods and their own failure patterns.
Putting it back
Reinstating a surface is part of the job, not an afterthought. We say what the finish will look like before starting.

Tell us what it's doing.

Describe what you are seeing and we will tell you what it sounds like and what a visit would involve. If it is dropping fast, call. You will reach a three-person, owner-led team.

Questions people ask

Do you repair what you find, or just locate it?

Both. We repair what we locate. You are also free to take the findings to someone else.

Will the deck match afterwards?

We will tell you honestly what the reinstatement will look like before we open anything. Stamped and coloured concrete is difficult to match exactly, and you should know that in advance rather than after.

What if the repair does not hold?

Come back to us. We would rather return than have you tell people it did not work.
